Horsham City to River Masterplan
Client: Horsham Rural City Council
Urban Enterprise in conjunction with Tract Consultants were engaged by Horsham Rural City Council to prepare the Horsham City to River Masterplan for Horsham’s Central Activities District and Riverfront Precinct.
The project intends to support and prioritise game changing projects in the study area that will improve liveability, catalyse public and private sector investment and improve conditions for residents, workers and visitors.
The Vision and Concept Plan was underpinned by extensive research and analysis relating to Horsham’s demographic and economic profile, tourism industry and core land uses, as well as a comprehensive consultation process with community, business, industry and government stakeholders.
A number of recommendations in the Masterplan have already progressed to implementation, including a new public meeting place and riverside café, natural water play splash park and walking/cycling paths.
