Cycling Optimisation in Victoria’s North East receives $12 million Major Funding

Victoria’s North East secured a significant share of funding in the latest State Government budget, with $12 million allocated to cycling optimisation projects and marketing. Urban Enterprise completed an Interim Report including cost benefit assessment for Tourism North East in December 2016, which demonstrated the North East’s competitive advantages in cycling, market growth, market potential, and identified immediate priority projects for progression. Urban Enterprise is delighted by this significant outcome for Victoria’s North East. Urban Enterprise is currently completing the North East Cycling Optimisation Master Plan, due for completion in December 2017.
